Self Hypnosis Techniques Preparation Steps

Here the first part of the process, the preparation usually it's the same, for many self hypnosis techniques.

Preparation for Self Hypnosis steps :

1) it's very important that you chose a safe place where nobody can disturb you for at list al 15 minutes.

2) Now you need to ask your self which is the thing I would like to improve or achieve in my life. The goal has to be:

  • be specific let's say: “I want more money” this is wrong way to say it, better “I want 50000 dollars”
  • measurable that means that you will be able to find out if you achieved the goal so describe the you feel or what you 'll see when you achieve that goal
  • emotional effect this is a key point because refers to the positive emotion that you attached to that goal, you have to come from good emotion not from bad emotion
  • be realistic has to be achievable not something like win the lotto
  • timed, you goal must have a date that you should achieve that goal if is not possible make because nature of the goal put time of beginning

3) Turn the goals in suggestions, one of three types of them:

  • pre-hypnotic suggestion where the one you read before
  • regular suggestion when use them while you're in hypnosis
  • visualization using imagination in order to achieve unconscious mind

Two Different Process

Now because there are three types of self hypnosis suggestions, there are two different way to execute the actual process during self hypnosis. One way is to use pre-hypnotic suggestions before induce trance other one is to use regular suggestion and visualization from inside trance state.

Regular Visualization And Suggestion

Process during Self hypnosis for regular and visualization suggestions:

1) preparation it's same as above described

2) induce to trance

  • choose a spot on the wall
  • fix you eye on that spot
  • start to relax you eye
  • notice that you vision expands and see the all room around not just the spot on the wall
  • close your eyes

3) give your regular suggestion or visualise the goal

4) return to normal state of mind

In this way is less safe as approach because if you get confuse with the suggestion while you are in trance, you can trigger the critical factor. So this techniques has require a lot training before you can use for big goal. I suggest you to use this process for small things first less risky ones.

Pre-Hypnotic Suggestion

I prefer pre-hypnotic suggestions, it's self hypnosis technique has less risks

1) preparation as above described

2) pre-hypnotic suggestion (15 word max) read out loud your suggestion about till you fill your mind

3) go to trance by:

  • choose a spot on the wall
  • fix you eye on that spot
  • start to relax you eye
  • notice that you vision expands and see the all room around not just the spot ont wall
  • close your eyes

4) drifting for while leave the imagination run free let the unconscious to express or you can visualize your goal to make all process more powerful

5) return normal state

Self Hypnosis Techniques Conclusion

This process is easier to execute and generates good results. I hope you'll used it, I have been using it myself for while now. But the main thing it's safe process no chance to trigger the critical factor. Have fun with it.
